 The following terms and conditions and any other related rules made available in writing by Ranas (collectively the “Conditions of Sale”) are applicable to all products that you (the “Customer”) may order from Ranas. On the Internet via Ranas Website, identified by the domain name "www.Ranas.com " By placing an order through Ranas.com or by registering at the website to purchase Ranas products, you guarantee that you are a legitimate customer in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth below and that you accept to be bound by these Conditions of Sale. The Conditions of Sale applicable to any order placed through the Website are those in force on the date you place your order. Ranas.com may modify the Conditions of Sale from time to time, at its sole discretion, and your continued use and/or registration following such change will signify your agreement to be bound in the future by the modified Conditions of Sale. Please read the Conditions of Sale and check the Website on a regular basis to be informed of any changes. Users cannot at any time claim ignorance of any or all of these terms. If User does not agree to these Terms, then User is not authorized to continue consultation and access of the Web Site. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions of Sale, then you must immediately contact the sales@ranas.com to cancel your registration and refrain from ordering any Ranas product through the Website. For those persons wishing to use the Website, they must read and agree to be bound by our policies relating to those services. In particular, we draw your attention to our Website Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, which are incorporated to these Conditions of Sale by reference.

2. PURCHASING

 To register or place an order through Ranas.com you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under the age of 18 or cannot lawfully enter into a contract, you must have your parent or guardian review these Conditions of Sale, the Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and register or place an order on your behalf. Any orders placed in contravention to this provision shall be null and void.

3. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, PRICE & DESCRIPTION

All orders placed through the Website are subject to availability and acceptance by Ranas. Ranas reserves the right to refuse at any moment in time, without prior notice. The prices displayed are for all online orders. The price & availability of merchandise may change without prior notice. The description of products (color, embroidery, size, weight, fabric, etc) specified with the product are only to provide a fair idea, and may vary from actual product, these are subject to change without prior notice. Please feel free to contact us and clarify any details of these products before ordering for complete confirmation and satisfaction.

4. REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION

You should carefully check all details before placing your order through the Website, including without limitation, the Order Reference Number and the particulars of the sale, which will be provided on the Website. Once you have confirmed and placed your order, Ranas will issue an Order Reference Number, and acknowledge that it has received your order, which will be processed following the usual credit and anti-fraud checks. Please make sure that you save this Order Reference Number for any future enquiries. On placing an order through the Website, you are making an offer to Ranas to purchase the products, after having unconditionally accepted, agreed and understood all the terms of use and conditions of sale along with their procedures risks and consequences.

5. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed through the Website, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This acknowledgement of order is not an acceptance of your order.

6. CONFIRMATION OF ORDER

After we analyze your order for acceptability depending upon various factors like availability, size feasibility, etc, Ranas will send you by email Confirmation of Order. Acceptance of your order by Ranas concludes the offer and acceptance process; the result being the formation of an executed sales contract at the time Ranas sends the Confirmation of Order for the purchase of Ranas products. If for any reason we feel that the accomplishment of your order is not possible we may decline your order and refund the payment in your account.

7. SHIPPING POLICY

We at Ranas are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and always on time. To enable us to ensure prompt & safe delivery please read and follow these terms

7.1. Destinations

 7.1.1. We take orders for delivery to almost any postal address in the world. Please note that Ranas does not ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses and hotels. Please provide complete address with pin code/zip code along with landmarks for easy delivery.

7.1.2. Please ensure that someone is there to receive the parcel when courier delivery is attempted. In case no one is there to receive the package, the parcel may be left at door. At which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. In such a case our courier agents will not be able to provide signed confirmation of delivery.

7.1.3. No shipment will be delivered on Saturday & Sunday. In some Islamic countries Friday is also considered as holiday. No Shipment will be dispatched on Sundays and public holidays.

7.1.4. Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you shall need to place multiple orders.

7.2. Cost Delivery Cost is charged to you by Ranas, which is in addition to the price of the products themselves. You may avail reduced shipping cost on additional items if already specified with the product. The cost of the shipment is based on the weight of the product which is available for your reference on the product page. In case it is not available, Please feel free to ask us. The weight of all the products will be rounded off up to the next 500gms.

7.3. Delivery Time After the order is placed the processing of your order may take 7 to 20 days depending upon the availability of product & complexity of alteration if any. Once the order is processed and is ready to dispatch, we will send you the confirmation of order by email. Please allow 3 to 7 days for express shipments from the date of dispatch for USA, Europe and all major destinations. If a product is required urgently or before a definite date you are recommended to confirm with us through email about the availability and exact delivery date before placing an order. We can also arrange alternate suitable shipping option for bulk orders. Please feel free to contact us at sales@ranas.com for any further clarifications. The origin of all shipment will be India

7.4. Tracking Your Shipment After we dispatch the shipment, we will provide you with the tracking no. of your shipment. Through which you will be able to know the status of shipment in transit.

7.5. Billing Please note all items including gifts will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.

7.6. Insurance All the shipment is insured by us till the delivery at your address. There is no extra charge for this. However we take no responsibility of lost or damages to shipment after it has been left at your address. Please ensure that someone is there to receive the package at your address to avoid any dispute by loss or damage of goods in absence of any custodian. Always provide correct address & zip code in order to avoid any penalties by courier companies. In case the address & zip code do not match customer will have to bear the complete cost of any such penalties and the cost of reshipment if the parcel is returned due to wrong address.

7.7. Custom & Duties Any Charges leaved by customs or any other department of Government or otherwise will have to be paid by the  customers. Ranas will not accept any responsibility for any compensation with regard to vat, custom and import duties, taxes, surcharge by courier companies or any such charge.

7.8. Important Guidelines To ensure safe and convenient delivery of shipment we advise you to follow these guidelines

7.8.1. Always provide us with complete & correct postal address with pin codes/zip codes along with landmarks

7.8.2. Please ensure that someone is available to accept the shipment at the expected time of delivery

7.8.3. Before accepting delivery of any shipment, please ensure that the packaging has not been damaged or tampered with. If you believe that the merchandise is not in good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and call our Customer Care at +911414010100 / 200 or e-mail us at sales@ranas.com, mentioning your order reference number

8. EXCHANGE & RETURN POLICY

8.1. Ranas.com is committed to ensuring your satisfaction with any merchandise you have ordered from us. Ranas is extremely cautious in ensuring that each product strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic. If however due to any unforeseen condition you are not satisfied with our merchandise then the following terms apply for a mutually consented resolution of the matter.

8.2. In case of any problem please intimate us within 24 hrs of receipt of merchandise at  sales@ranas.com 

8.3. In the unlikely event that any merchandise you have ordered from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, or if merchandise delivered is different from what you had ordered

8.3.1. In case of any such problem please intimate us within 24 hrs of receipt of merchandise at sales@ranas.com

8.3.2. Please be very specific when you describe the problem.

8.3.3. Our customer care representative will soon get in touch with you, providing all the guidelines on how to proceed in the Exchange & Return Authorization Mail (ERAM).Please DO NOT send the merchandise before receiving the Exchange & Return Authorization Mail from us.

8.3.4. You may return the merchandise unused, and in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging along with original tags, for a refund or an exchange as mutually agreed, within 72 hours from the time of receipt of goods.

8.3.5. Please remember to mark such items as “Defective Goods Return & Not For Sale”

8.3.6. After the merchandise is received by us, and subject to verification of the purchase and condition of merchandise we shall process a refund/exchange in accordance with the Exchange & Return Authorization Mail (ERAM)

8.3.7. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest, with no extra shipping cost to you.

8.3.8. In case of non availability of same product for replacement customers will be requested to select alternate merchandise or refund as desired by the customer

8.3.9. In case of mutually agreed refund, money will be credited to your account once the merchandise has been received by us in intact position.

8.3.10. Please remember Shipping charges are non refundable. The cost of returning the merchandise by express shipment(3 to 7 days) for return or exchange has to be borne by customer; however The replacement item will be shipped to you at no additional shipping charge.

8.3.11. An amount of 25$ US will be deducted from the total amount refunded on account of bank & other processing charges in all cases.

8.3.12. Custom duties, taxes, surcharges or any other payments apart from the cost of product are full responsibility of the customer, and completely non refundable. These charges are directly payable by customer. Ranas will not accept any responsibility for any compensation with regard to any such charges.

8.4. If the merchandise has been Stitched or Altered according to your measurement then Return or Exchange is not possible under any circumstances, however we offer free alterations.

8.4.1. Customers can always purchase unstitched garments from us and get them stitched on their own.

8.4.2. Though we make our best effort to provide the best fit, due to unavailability of actual trial we recommend you to select standard sizes or get the stitching done by your own tailor. If however you find a need for alteration you can send the product after consulting us and we will do free alterations. Customer will only have to bear both ways shipping cost & the cost of extra material if required.

8.4.3. If you are very particular you can also send us your fitting garment as sample or ask us to send you a dummy sample first, to approve the fitting.

8.4.4. Application of fall on Sarees & finishing them from edges will be regarded as alteration of saree. If the customer has requested for this facility, and the Sarees have been altered from their original state, no exchange, returns or cancellations will be entertained. 8.5. Before ordering any product please be extra careful of following :

8.5.1. Some Colors tend to reflect different shade in photography, though utmost care is taken to keep the same resemblance. Colors of product may also appear differently on different display monitors due to different resolutions and color settings. Colors also tend to reflect different shades in different lighting conditions. Therefore slight variation of color between actual garment and how it appears on your screen is unavoidable. No request for return or exchange will be accepted on this account.

8.5.2. We are very careful while manufacturing and creating these garments. However In today’s fashion world, countless variations of fabrics are being developed to provide the customer new look in garments. Natural and Handloom fabrics involve various irregularities in weaving likes slubs, lines and textures, these are natural characteristics of these fabrics and will not be considered as defects. Some non machine made fabrics always vary when reproduced. Therefore any irregularity in color, weaving, embroidery or silhouette is characteristics of handicraft process.

8.5.3. The description and specifications given with the product like size, color, embroidery details, etc are only approximate values to provide a fair idea of product, and may vary from actual product, for example embroideries may involve a combination of various beads, sequence, metal and thread wires, stones along with other innovative materials in shiny, matt or antique finish, embellished on the fabric using various techniques of embroideries to enhance the design of product. These may not all be possible to describe. However further clarifications will be provided on requests by customers to ensure their satisfaction.

8.5.4. Certain colors tend to bleed, fade or vary because of the natural characteristic of fabric or tiedye. Colors of Tiedye, leheria and hand dyed fabrics may bleed on contact with water or sweat. Extra care has to be taken while wearing these garments.

8.5.5. We do not provide any guarantee or warrantee for color, cloth and zari used in the garment.

8.6. Even though the embroidery on our garments is done by most skills craftsmen. Some beads and sequence material are very delicate and should be handled very carefully, with slight mishandling at customs or during transit some beads or sequence may come off however there is no need to panic, as this is unavoidable. In most cases this can be fixed. We will not charge the labor of fixing, however both ways shipping and cost of material used will have to be paid by customer. In some cases the material may not be available. To avoid any inconvenience please contact us on sales@ranas.com before sending the product to us. Please do not send the product before consulting us.

8.7. Used products are not eligible for a return or exchange under any circumstances

8.8. Please DO NOT send the merchandise before receiving the Exchange & Return Authorization Mail from us.

8.9. Under all circumstances we have sole discretion in deciding whether to accept the returns or not, depending upon the case.

8.10. Should a product be returned to Ranas, only the Customer will be entitled to receive a refund. In no event will a Gift Recipient be entitled to receive a refund. If your return complies with the return policy.

8.11. Returns of Ranas products which are not in compliance with the conditions and timeframes set forth above may be rejected by Ranas and will be sent back to you.

9. WARRANTIES / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

WHILE RANAS WILL USE REASONABLE ENDEAVOURS TO VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF ANY INFORMATION IT PLACES ON THE WEBSITE, IN ADVERTISEMENT IT MAKES NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED IN RELATION TO THE ACCURACY, RELIABILTY AND COMPLETENESS OF ANY OR ALL SUCH INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE. ACCORDINGLY, RANAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ERROR OR INACCURACY IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS OR GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATIONS OF PRODUCTS DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ranas, its employees, officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, partners and their successors, from and against any and all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees, arising out of claims based upon your actions or inactions which may result in any loss or liability to Ranas.com or any third party including but not limited to any breach of any warranties, representations or undertakings or in relation to the non-fulfillment of any of your obligations under this User Agreement(along with Conditions of Sale ) or arising out of your violation of any applicable laws, regulations including but not limited to Intellectual Property Rights, payment of statutory dues and taxes, claim of libel, defamation, violation of rights of privacy or publicity, loss of service by other subscribers and infringement of intellectual property or other rights by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other persons accessing this Website using your Internet account or account login. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you hereunder. This clause shall survive the expiry or termination of this User Agreement.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The Conditions of Sale (as amended from time to time) constitutes the entire agreement between you and Ranas regarding your use of the Website and any transactions you may have with Ranas through the Website, and supersedes any other agreement or understanding, arrangements, undertaking or proposal, written or oral, between you and Ranas in relation to such matters. In the event any other rules, code of conduct, or other matter posted on the Website conflicts with the terms of the Conditions of Sale, the Conditions of Sale shall govern. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of the Conditions of Sale. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions of Sale, you have not relied on any representation save in so far as the same has expressly been made a representation in the Conditions of Sale and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which has not become a term of the Conditions of Sale save that your agreement contained in this Clause shall not apply in respect of any fraudulent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions of Sale.

12. NO WAIVER

 No waiver by Ranas shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.

13. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

The Conditions of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to these terms, including the validity, invalidity, breach or termination thereof, shall be adjudicated or arbitrated in Jaipur jurisdiction. The Courts at Jaipur shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any proceedings arising out of this agreement. Any dispute or difference either in interpretation or otherwise, of any terms of this Agreement between the parties hereto, the same shall be referred to an independent arbitrator who will be appointed by Ranas. and his decision shall be final and binding on the parties hereto. The above arbitration shall be in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 as amended from time to time. The arbitration shall be held in Jaipur, and the Laws of India shall apply.
